 standard we offer to our clients and of the standard of our horses,ponies and facilities.

BEGINNERS WELCOME

RIDING LESSONS

 

Lessons are available for all ages and all standards.

We teach children from four years of age upwards

starting on Kindergartens and Pony Rides and

progressing  to the Junior Riding Club.

We also teach adults who want to learn to ride from scratch or who haven’t ridden for years and

we teach seasoned riders dressage and jumping.

 

½hr Kiddies or Adult Beginners - £16

Private Lessons - ½hr £29, 45 min £40

Shared Lessons - 45 min £30pp, 1 hr £40

1hr Group Lesson - £29

 

A 10% discount for 12 lessons or rides is available

The Indoor Arena

FOREST HACKING

 

The New Forest is very picturesque throughout the year,boasting beautiful scenary from the open heathland where the New Forest ponies roam freely to the enclosures where you can ride along tree lined avenues and see the habitat of wild deer,fox and badger.

 

Forest Hacks are based on the riders ability

with 1 hour walk rides for beginners and

2 hour walk & trot hacks for more experienced riders. We no longer canter on any ride.

Children or nervous riders can be lead.

 

  1hr rides £29 and 2hr hacks £49

 

 Please enquire for Groups of 6 or more riders

 

Riders must be over 7 years to ride out.

The Ornamental Drive at Rhinefield There are over 94,000 acres of  wooded enclosures and open heaths which  are unrestricted for riders. 

Weight limits apply on all lessons (14st) and Hacks (15st)

Burley Villa welcomes both riders and non riders of all ages and offers Hacking through the New Forest or Riding Lessons in the Indoor Arena or Menege.

 

Whether you are a visitor to the area and would like to ride across open Forest, or you want to learn to ride on a regular basis, Burley-Villa can help and advise you. The New Forest is one of the last areas in the country where you can ride freely across the wide open heath lands and through the picturesque enclosures, offering rides of scenic beauty which are enjoyed by all our riders throughout the year.
