Scootworks Tweek (Dave Hockaday) runs this US based Company and supplies belt drive
conversions kits and rear suspension lowering kits to 800 Drifter owners, plus an increasing
range of accessories. The Lowering kit does exactly what it says on the tin, and it's ideal
for those struggling to reach the ground, or great for a new rider who feels more confident
with the weight lower. The belt drives uses the latest technology in belt construction,
and as well as the obvious advantages over a heavy, dirty, stretchy, noisy chain.. is that
it drops the gearing a little and lowers the revs for better cruising and MPG. I brought
one of these belt conversions back with me for my Drifter, when we went over to the US for
the first ever Drifter rally.. so when I eventually get round to fitting it over the winter,
