Each year, the SIG
puts on a number of displays of our aerobatic team models at various model
shows/model engineering events. As we are based in the UK, the majority of
these shows are in England, but we do like to try and include at least
one overseas event each season.
Listed below are the
events at which you can expect to see one of our displays in 2003 :-

The third annual show staged by the IPMS Milton Keynes Scale
Model Club.

The East Midlands Model Makers Society's annual show.

Patrouille de France 50th Anniversary
Celebrations & Airshow
2003 sees the French Air Force Aerobatic team, the
Patrouille de France, celebrating their 50th anniversary with a
spectacular airshow and meeting of major international teams at their home base
of Salon de Provence, in the South of France. Our SIG has been invited to the
show by the Patrouille de France Pilot's Association to join in
the celebrations and put on a model display in Salon de Provence for the
occasion.

The annual show of Birmingham IPMS & Universal Modelling
Society.

IPMS(UK) Scale Modelworld 2003
The IPMS(UK) Nationals. The biggest event of the year,
arguably the biggest model event in the world !
Date: Saturday 22nd
& Sunday 23rd November

International Centre, St Quentin Gate, Telford, Shropshire, England.
* On two
occasions this year, we have clashes where there are two shows happening on the
same date. So for both of these dates, we will be splitting into two teams,
allowing us to perform "synchro displays" at each event, at the same
time - and in different countries !!
