Greater Bristol Foundation is one of the UK's first and most successful community foundations. Set up in 1987, it provides a long-term source of support for charitable activity in the Bristol area, with the aim of ensuring that everyone has as full a chance as possible of enjoying and contributing to life in Bristol and its immediate surroundings.
The Foundation manages funds on behalf of individuals, companies and charitable trusts and makes grants to support voluntary organisations and community groups in the greater Bristol area.
