Cirencester (Roman City
of Corinium) is acknowledged as the Capital of The Cotswolds and is some
6 miles (10km) from Rodmarton. Here can be found a Roman Amphitheatre and
a Museum containing important Roman artefacts including the finest Mosaic
flooring anywhere in The United Kingdom. Travelling up the Foss Way (A429)
there are many interesting and beautiful villages, including Chedworth (where
there is a Roman Villa) all distinguished by the mellow coloured stone with

London is easily accessible by train from Kemble (5 minutes from Rodmarton)
in less than an hour and a half. By car London is about two hours drive.
