THE CHOIR leads praise at morning worship, meeting once weekly from October to May on Fridays at 7.45 p.m. for practice, and also presents occasional concerts of light music.

THE SUNDAY CLUB offers worship, fellowship and activities for children on Sunday morning during school terms. There are four age groups: Sparklers (3-5), All Stars (5-7), Trailblazers (7-10) and Lazers (10+). A Holiday Club is run for all ages during the school summer holiday period.

EXPLORING FAITH is a programme of small-group meetings for anybody interested in exploring the Christian faith and the life of the Church. They are of special interest to anyone thinking about Church membership, but they are open to all. Enquiries to the Minister.

YOUTH ORGANISATIONS. The Youth Club, for children of 10+ meets on the first Saturday of each month from 7.30-9.30 p.m. There are companies of the Boys' Brigade (Anchor Boys and Junior Section, Tuesday, 6.30-7.30 p.m.) the Girls' Brigade (Thursday, 6.30-7.30 p.m.), and the Girl Guides (Friday, 7.00-8.30 p.m.) Brownie Guides (Monday, 6.00-7.30 p.m.) and Rainbows (Friday, 5.30-6.30 p.m.)

THE CHURCH OF SCOTLAND GUILD (formerly the Woman's Guild) is an organisation of fellowship and service for Christian women (now also open to men) which meets on alternate Thursday evenings at 7.15 p.m.

THE MEN'S CLUB meets on Monday evenings at 7.30 p.m. for social activities, including carpet bowls.

BOWLS There is an enthusiastic group of bowlers who compete in the Aberdeen Churches League.

FRIDAY CRÈCHE in the Congregational Hall from 9.15 a.m. to 11.15 a.m. provides child care for under-5s while Mums go shopping or have some time to themselves.

THE "MOTHER'S MEETING" now a fellowship of older ladies, meets on Fridays at 2 p.m. and holds occasional outings.

SCOTTISH COUNTRY DANCING is held on alternate Tuesday evenings in the Congregational Hall at 7.45.m. from 23rd. Sept.

NORTH St.A.R.S. is a music and drama group for children of school age which prepares and performs a stage show each year. New season rehearsals began in August and are held after the morning service.

THE LUNCH CLUB offers a meal and fellowship after the morning service once a month.

TRAIDCRAFT is a 'fair trade' organisation making available goods from the developing world in a way that ensures that the producers receive a fair price for their products and labour. We have a Traidcraft outlet which sells tea, coffee, household products and other goods open after the service every Sunday and at other times.

In this, as well as through support for CHRISTIAN AID and in other ways we express our solidarity with the poor two-thirds of the World and our participation in the world church.

FACILITIES include three halls, one with a fine stage and one accessible from street level at the Shoe Lane entrance, a pleasant lounge with a lending library, and a well-equipped kitchen, in addition to the church and chapel.
