Basic Colours

I'll try and explain something about colours here. I'm going to list and show the basic colours but remember that the colour you see will be a factor of a number of things including your monitor settings, the browser you use and your eyesight!

Colours work as follows; each colour code indicates the level of red, green and blue. Each value is expressed as a two digit hex value where 00 = none of that value and FF = maximum amount (255 in hex). Thus Red is #FF0000, Green (actually referred to as Lime) is #00FF00 and Blue is #0000FF. Black is the absence of colour, #000000, and white is all colours, #FFFFFF.
