Simple tool

by Bryan Hollinshead

A simple little tool which I have found extremely useful and which can be made in 10 minutes with the aid of a soldering iron.

Two crocodile clips, one large and one small, soldered back to back as shown in sketch.  The body of the sparking plug is held in the larger of the two clips whilst the smaller can be clipped to a convenient place on the cylinder head.  This will leave both hands free when checking the ignition for a spark at the plug points.

Maybe this little device will be of interest to other members.
