Danemoor Great Danes
Middlewich ~ England

Living in England, Phil & Olivia Bates have been showing and breeding Great Danes for more than 20 years.  Their first litter bred in 1985 out of Dorneywood Lucretia by Ch. Devarro Direct Descendent saw the arrival of Ch. Danemoor The Persian Boy. 'Darius' as his many friends and admirers knew him, sired several litters and features in the pedigrees of the current Danemoor stock.

Now retired from the show ring (except for the occasional outing in 'veteran') we have Danemoor Jack Frost (Black) a consistent winner in his day and top black male 1995/6.

Danemoor Persian Spice Danemoor Say It With Flowers (Poppy)

We are currently showing a young brindle boy 'Beau', two fawn girls 'Spice’  & 'Poppy’  and a young black girl 'Tiffany'.  Poppy’s litter sister 'Danemoor Hot Gossip at Dornoir JW’ was the winning bitch on the day in the South Western Great Dane Club's 1999 Premier League competition.  In 1998 Spice was top winning minor puppy bitch in the Midland & West Great Dane Club’s  ‘Golden Anniversary’ competition.

'Travis' (Dornoir Conor of Danemoor) our new blue boy started his show career in early August 2000 and quickly qualified for 'Crufts', we are looking forward to him siring the first of a ‘blue’ Danemoor line from 'Tiffany' (Danemoor This Is My Moment).
