THEMES FOR DAILY INTERCESSION PRIOR TO THE MISSION 3rd – 18th November     THEMES FOR DAILY INTERCESSION PRIOR TO THE MISSION 3rd – 18th November THEMES FOR DAILY INTERCESSION PRIOR TO THE MISSION 3rd – 18th November October Pray for the breaking down of any barriers and the removal of fears.  Pray that Jesus will reveal himself  more fully, in all our lives.  Pray that the Mission may really move in the power of the Holy Spirit.    Pray for good weather throughout the Mission.  Pray for a spirit of gentleness and sensitivity and for the gift of expectant faith; that we may see God’s glory and that people may turn to him in a deeper way.   Pray for the whole Parish at this very special time; that all may remain open to hear the message and be given the graces to respond.  Pray for a safe journey for the Mission Team and that they may really be made to feel very welcome during their stay with you   Our Mission Prayer – Father in Heaven we rely on You in all things.  For we are powerless without You. While there are two priests in the parish, there will be two masses each week day:

AN:

• Mon/Wed/Fri:  7.30 am
• Tue/Thu/Sat:    10.00 am

EC:

• Mon/Wed/Fri: 10.00 am
• Tue/Thu/Sat: 7.00 pm

 

Please check the newsletter or this website for any changes.  The extra masses will give working people and students a chance to attend masses.

ANNUNCIATION ALTAR SERVERS TRAINING SESSIONS – DATE CHANGED  TO: Tues 9th Oct  at 6.00 pm   BOURNEMOUTH DEANERY VISIT TO CATHEDRAL Together with Deaneries of The New Forest & The Isle of Wight, we are invited to spend a day at the newly refurbished Cathedral in Portsmouth – the mother church of the Diocese.  The day is Saturday 17th November.  Unfortunately, this clashes with our Parish Mission, but if you would like to attend, please contact the Parish Office.   PARISH MISSION  3rd- 18th November If you have not done so already Take a Prayer Card Complete a Helpers Form _____________________________   Catholics and Muslims A booklet of reprinted papers issued during the past four years gives some helpful info – appropriate at the present time.  Free in church porch.  More available on request.  ST PETER’S SCHOOL Open Evening for Children & Parents Date: Wed 31st Oct – Venue: St Peter’s School, Iford – Time: 6.00 pm – 8.00 pm This open evening is a chance for children & parents who are considering applying to St Peter’s School for Sept 2002, to tour the school and speak with members of staff and pupils.
