Climbing Wall

Onsite undercover facilities.

Our bouldering wall continues to provide a popular warming up / practising facility that can be used on wet days or on dark evenings.

The main wall offers nine vertical routes, three overhanging and three slab routes plus a featured wall. These are all intended for top roping and have ropes in place. This facility is available for use by members of the public who have appropriate experience/qualification. The wall is undercover and has lighting. We have a comprehensive selection of climbing shoes and chalk bags available for hire.

Cost £2.50 per head.

Boots and chalk bag £2.50 per session.

Instructed sessions are also available at a cost of £7.50 per head per hour for groups of four or more.

We have added a further series of routes, this time, across the roof.

These routes are intended for lead climbing and training purposes only and are provided with in situ threads and karabiners. They have had extensive use by our own staff who have become addicted to the unique challenges of climbing upside down!
