When I first moved to Manchester, I would invite them to come to my flat and Jacqui, a friend of mine, and I would take them down the Village. At that time, I was on a well paid contract - and the cost of helping other girls really didn't bother me. All we asked at that time was a nominal amount to cover b&b. Sadly, that contract ended and I could no longer afford to spend money going out when I might not have done so. Jacqui, too, was in the same position. As many of the girls did not even have their own kit, Jacqui established a dressing service - which involved investing in a outfits for a range of sizes.
Much as we regret it, we now have to charge a reasonable amount to cover the costs involved (and lost earnings). We are not out to make vast profits from other TGs - but simply cannot afford to subsidise them either.
I also realised that there were many girls who would have problems explaining a weekend away to partners - so we came up with the idea of having computer courses for TGs.
We also know that some TGs want to go shopping en femme - but are nervous about doing so on their own. My girl friend Gilda is happy to escort girls into town. She also offers a wig styling and renovation service which is detailed under the Services and Wig sections of these pages.
Jacqui and I have taken a number of girls out for their first trips en femme. All have been nervous at first - which is entirely natural. But within a few minutes, they've been totally relaxed and by the end of the evening they've been on cloud nine.
