ESCAPE FROM THE CYCLOPS
This is the only way. You can't kill him, because he's the only one who
can move the rock to open the cave. You have no hesitation in blinding the
monster who ate your men, and broke all the laws of hospitality. You seem
to have forgotten that he is Poseidon's son - but luckily he can't tell
his father thanks to your cunning deception about your name. He screams
in agony but tells his neighbours that "Nobody has blinded him" and they
leave him alone. He'll have to let the sheep out in the morning, and you
tie them in threes with your men hanging underneath. You yourself cling
to the belly of the ram. A nasty moment as the Cyclops stops his pet to
ask why he's the last out this morning....
