NKEF is now developing the SPLASH Group, which will be a forum for local interest in the canal. The SPLASH group was one of the principal recommendations of the September 2001 Canalside Study, produced for NKEF. This study of the Grand Union Canal in the Royal Borough includes an appraisal of the canal environment, results of local consultation and proposals for future action.
