Craft weaver of hand knotted wool rugs using traditional crafts and a hand loom.
These thick and luxurious rugs feature unique designs based on Celtic art. The Handweaver also produces bespoke rugs to order using hand dyed wool for a wide choice of colour and design. The rugs have a pile of 15 mm or 20 mm and are made with many thousands of knots, each tied by hand.
Each rug takes three to four weeks to make using the same ancient technique used in Oriental carpets. There is no adhesive used so the rugs do not have any chemical odour. They are made with quality wool blend and are thick, heavy, soft and luxurious.
The bespoke rug service produces rugs to match a colour of your choice, for example to go with a sofa. A unique design is created specially for you.
