Right, first of all there are 4 of us, and we are as follows.

Chris Duffy (17) - That's me. I am the founder of the band, and the first person to buy and learn an instrument. I am the main songwriter, and I play both rythm and lead guitar. I believe I am a good all rounder as I can play instruments, write songs, and sing (although many people would disagree with me on that last point).

I have been playing for around 2 years now and believe I am pretty good (Well I'm a master of power chords anyway) and I think up all of the power chord sequences and solo's for our songs. I also write practically every song.

My influences include - Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Metallica, Pennywise, Guttermouth, Blink 182, Goldfinger, AFI, Lagwagon, NOFX, Hi-Standard, Millencolin, Me First and the Gimme Gimme's, Diesel Boy, Bad Religion, Strung Out, Pantera, AC/DC, Guns 'N' Roses, Bon Jovi, James Brown (how did that one get in there?), REM, etc.

Alex Brown (17) - He is the lead/rythm guitarist (Me and alex take turns, you see). He so far hasn't written any songs or done anything constructive whatsoever apart from play the guitar at practise sessions. Recently he has expanded his field by experimenting with a bass, and the school drumset (He thinks he's brilliant on both!). He is therefore guitarist, bassist and back-up drummer for the band.

His influences include - Blink 182, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Bon Jovi, REM, Rancid, etc.

Next is Ryan Knowles (17) - He was going to be our bassist, because for some reason he didn't strum a guitar, just plucked the strings, but anyway the useless twat then went out and bought a guitar (So what's that now, THREE guitarists?!?!?!).

He has since learnt to strum a guitar and has been playing for a while now. He conjures up the basic guitar tunes, and has now become the singer for Grassy Knowle. He is the main reason for the name Grassy Knowle (get it? ha ha!). We thought it was pretty cool at the time!

His influences include - Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, Blur, Ten Benson and all kinds of Brit pop (shit).

The LAST member is Paul Windor (17) who is the drummer. He is one of the best drummers I have ever heard (Check our sample for proof). He has been playing for four years and is f#cking excellent. Lucky for us he agreed to join our band!

His influences include - Pennywise, Blink 182, NOFX, AFI, Guttermouth, Strung Out, and any other decent punk bands.
