PERFORMANCE
Officially the car produces 280Bhp (but these figures are very reserved due to an agreement between Japanese car manufacturers to limit production car output to 280
bhp). The car was tested by several proud owners and magazines but a limitation in fuel used (the car works best with 105 octane unleaded fuel - standard in Japan) did not provide accurate and constant results. Estimates put the power at 380Bhp and the Torque at 47Kg-m.
The most crucial test, (and what everyone wants to know) 0-100Km/h again produced misleading results. Estimated
figures put its performance (0-100Km/h) at 3.8Sec.
You must remember that official figures are estimated at unleaded weight and optimal conditions, (without gear changes lost time) etc.
