The Sekai Dentokan Bugei Renmei
( World School of Traditional Martial Arts Federation) was founded
in 1994, by Roy J. Hobbs, Hanshi as a means of providing instruction,
and certification, in the various martial arts he has studied and
practiced for more than 50 years. It represent a variety of Okinawan/Japanese
martial arts and boasts of members, friends, and associates throughout
the world.
It is dedicated to the furtherance of understanding among people through
the practice of martial arts, regardless of race, creed, ethnic origin, national origin, religious
preference, or gender.
The Dentokan is an independent martial arts
association which is formally sanctioned by the Dai Nippon Seibukan Budo/Bugei Kai, Kyoto,
Japan, and the Kokodo Ju-Jutsu Renmei, Omiya, Japan, and is
affiliated with the Okinawa Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do Seidokan Kyokai and
the All Okinawa Seidokan Karate Kobudo Association.

Ko Ken Ryu Karate Jutsu is proud to form part
of Dentokan and being actively involved in its
development.
Andy Roosen is a member of the Sekai Dentokan Bugei Renmei Shihan
Kai which constantly overviews the development of karate within
the body.
