Minerals cannot be manufactured by the body and so they must be included in the diet.
Minerals are needed to activate the vitamin intake in the body

Amino Acids are the building blocks of the body and are the ingredients of proteins, they form antibodies to combat invading viruses and bacteria. They are also a part of the enzyme and hormonal system. They carry oxygen around the body and participate in muscle activity

Proline is extremely important for the proper functioning of the joints and tendons, it also helps to maintain and strengthen heart muscles.

Lysine (one of the essential acids) insures the adequate absorption of calcium; it also helps to form collegen,( which makes up bone cartilage and connective tissues) it also aids in the production of hormones, enzymes and antibodies.
