It's a cold, damp and dull Monday morning and the Queen wants cheering up so she sends for the Great Nerd.

"Nerd,  I'm bored, and I want cheering up with some good news for a change.You are supposed to be able to predict the future so get predicting about my singing career - and you better make it good!"

"Well Majesty the omens are very good - eventually you will be hailed as one of the great singers of our time but it will be necessary for you to share some of the glory with others - a backing group - Perhaps Bodonna and the Nice girls? - Also there will be a new invention which will enable your performance  to be seen all over , even by the Roms."

"Think of it - instant stardom"

"Mnm - These 'Nice girls'  they won't be singing too loudly I trust? - and the name 'Nice' well we will have to change that! -  Bodonna and the Borbelettes has a nicer ring to it.

"And of course there's nothing like a new hairstyle and dress  to cheer a girl up and I suppose a backing group would add something to the sense of occasion - so long as they don't try to steal the limelight..........."
