Following the injection of much needed cash by Mr WC Planet, the famous Retailer and Business entrepreneur, Sir Jeremy has commissioned a series of figures to grace the Hall and grounds from the renowned sculptor, Sir Henry Less-Clout.   The idea being to attract more visitors to the Hall and encourage interest  in Rom and Bit culture. The theme followed by Sir Henry is of course based on individual  Rom and Bit characters and the great man expects that the task will take several years to complete.

The first Sculpture, which is located in the corridor leading to Sir Jeremy's  private apartments, is Sir Henry's interpretation of Queen Bodemenia . The figure stands about 3.5 inches high in a nice shade of green and took several days and 87 cups of coffee to complete.

The Second of Sir Henry's sculptures depicts the GREAT NERD, who as the queens mentor was responsible for arranging her singing lessons and generally overseeing the day to day running of the Village.  Here the Nerd is depicted in what modern historians believe was his typical meditation mode - No doubt dreaming up some new super invention.

NB The 'dent' on the figurines nose is unfortunately entirely due to the author  who accidentally dropped the Sculpture on the floor during filming.

(NB the legionnaire on the right of the picture is actually shown eating their favourite food , a cheese sandwich)

Here we see Sir Henry  in his
Studio working on his latest project

This  larger version of the now famous Bodemenia statue is expected to become one of the crowing  achievements of Whitley Bay's most celebrated unknown sculptor, Sir Henry Less-Clout.

The sculpture, which is intended for a site beside the Rendezvous Cafe on the lower prom, (just in front of the Gents toilet) is expected to draw visitors from far and wide thus silencing those who have criticised the   Council for allowing the fabric of the seafront area to deteriorate and fall into a state of disrepair.

Technical information - The sculptures have been modelled in green wax on a copper wire former attached to a clear plastic top from a tube of toothpaste. I now have a surplus of toothpaste for which no reasonable offer will be refused.
