Fat Granny and Thin Granny

My father told me that he had two grannies - not unusual.

But - he knew them - not quite so usual.

One granny was ‘Fat Granny’, and the other was ‘Thin Granny’.

I believe that Julia CAVE was Fat Granny.
(Because my paternal grandmother, her daughter Fanny Victorina, was also stout.)

I believe then that Charlotte PARROTT must have been ‘Thin Granny’.
(My paternal grandfather was on the lean side.)

What his grandparents were like, my father never did explain - and I did not ask!
At first I was too young, and later he was too old - Take heed.
