Meditation is an art and a tool for reaching your spirit potential. The pathways that you take when doing visualization meditation are well-worn ways into the spirit side of you. The forest with flowers trees and streams, clearings where you can sit and be still are created in your thought world and the more you visit these placed the more real they become. Every thing in this physical world started off as a thought i.e. a chair that you sit in was once a thought in a persons mind.
We often receive thoughts from the spirit world, which we tend not to do anything with e.g. how often do we see a new product on the market and recognise it, as something we once thought of that would make life easier? Somebody received that same thought and made it a reality! If Leonardo Da Vinci had not persevered, with his thoughts on flying Would we have aero planes as we have today, or would another person have made the thought of flying a reality?
Well we can start right now using our thoughts to make our lifer easier.
Think of a place where you would find peace, visualize it in your mind put in your visualization things (e.g. place to sit/lie and be comfortable) could be anything you choose. When you have created your ideal place and furnished it with what you need then you can go there in your meditation and relax, work through any problems or simply enjoy your surroundings and have " time out " from your daily life. If you do this meditation regularly you will find that your life begins to run more smoothly and you begin to cope better with situations that surround you. This is because you have become calmer and more able to see your problems from outside of yourself and not be so involved that you cannot see the wood from the trees.
