One traveller who intended to stay in Cherating just for a week, ended staying there a year. Infact a lot of travellers stay here for longer than they originally thought. This included Karen & myself. There are only a small number of places to stay, eat and drink. Just the right balance of things to do and an incredibly layed back atmosphere. There is also unusual places to drink and eat, some of which are well back from the road hidden in the trees.
