"Arden Forest F.C. exists for the benefit of the young lads that play for it".
As a statement the above is true. Since 1981 this club has provided organised football for youngsters ranging from seven through to sixteen years old. We do not have an open age or sixteen plus team. After the last year with us we try to place our "Old Boys" with professional or semi-professional sides on trials (very often professional sides do not wait that long for our lads).
This year we do not have a side at under sixteen because what was last years under fifteens were all taken by Coventry City. Down the years we have had many other lads go off and have successful trials with professional outfits and here at Arden we believe that it is only a matter of time before one of our "Old Boys" really hits the big time.
However we do not exist purely to feed big clubs with new talent. Our main aim is to allow youngsters of all ages and ability to enjoy properly organised football. By doing this we believe that we provide a useful and constructive outlet for their energies, that can only help in developing young men of character and integrity.
Our club is run by a group of enthusiastic volunteers, some of which are parents of players. Without these people a club like ours could not exist. I am sure however that as a club we will continue to thrive and develop in the years to come.
