CHRIS'S PAGE

This is my page where I will put my photos and videos. I've only just started it but I'll put more and more pictures and things here when I can.

I started being interested in trains when I was about 3, but already my favourites have stopped coming to Preston. My favourites are 87s and 90s which Virgin used to have before the Pendolinos took over. I've even been on trains with 87s and 90s. My best day was when I went to Crewe with Dad - we went on trains with a 67 diesel, and three 87s in one day. One of the 87s was 87001 (painted blue) and another was 87002 (painted purple).
I took this picture on 29th July 07 on preston station. It is called an A4 - thats not a piece of paper - it's the same kind of steam engine as the Malard which is at the NRM. The malard was the fastest steam engine in the world. A4s are streamlined like newer trains like HSTs, Voyagers and Pendolinos.

On the same day a class 40 came to Preston station too. I didn't take any photos becasue I had the video camera. I'll try to put a video on here soon.

This is a movie of a GNER HST which I took at York station. Click on it to watch. Sorry there's no sound - it's not a super-quiet HST - it's just that my camera doesn't record sound.

You'll need QuickTime installed.
