Latest Club Links

In recent months the main Yahoo! page has included the latest urls provided by O.F.C. members.  Since the Sister site has seen little change recently and seems seldom used I thought it appropriate to update the site just in case Yahoo! is ever unavailable.  In the light of earlier requests if you do want your website including then please email your additions to me at burge01@globalnet.co.uk

It would be really great if you forwarded the entire url so that it links to the actual photo set, rather than a generic website.  In this way, members could track back through these links and use it as an archive.

Here are the latest offerings from the O.F.C.  I have proposed to maintain the links as an archive here and renew this page on a frequent basis.  As the Yahoo! page can only handle about a dozen urls at a time, we will maintain the links here for anyone keen to search back.

To contact Peter Burgess (the Founder) click on:burge01@globalnet.co.uk or send free text to me at 07811114821.  Just copy the number onto your clipboard, click the link. Paste the number into the appropriate box next to the 44 and follow the instructions.

Graham Jackman's April offering:

Moel Fferna , Berwyns - An unspectacular hill at the north end of the Berwyns but still made an interesting circular walk from Carrog near Llangollen by the River Dee
http://stigvista.co.uk/pa/walks/wales/mlfferna/mlfferna.htm
Tryfan & the Glyders - This was the repeat of one of my first walks in Snowdonia although I didn't remember the scrambling being as exposed as it was . Views were rather hazy but were still good none the less.
http://stigvista.co.uk/pa/walks/wales/tryfan2/tryfan2.htm
Snowdon - There was low cloud around first thing so hoping to get views above the clouds the highest hill available seemed a good choice but as you can see from the photos there were no views at the top.
http://stigvista.co.uk/pa/walks/wales/snowdonlp/snowdonlp.htm
It was interesting to see the few remains of the summit cafe though, there's more information on the new cafe at
http://blog.snowdonia-active.com/
Finally the last set are from a circular trip around Woodlands Valley north of Kinder taking in Alport Dale and Kinder Scout itself on what was a super clear & sunny day.
