RIDING LESSONS
Lessons are available for all ages and all standards. We teach children from four years of age upwards starting on Kindergartens and Pony Rides and progressing to the Junior Riding Club. We also teach adults who want to learn to ride from scratch or who haven’t ridden for years and we teach seasoned riders dressage and jumping.

Burley Villa welcomes both riders and non riders of all ages and offers Hacking through the New Forest or Riding Lessons in the Indoor Arena or Menege.
Whether you are a visitor to the area and would like to ride across open Forest, or you want to learn to ride on a regular basis, Burley-Villa can help and advise you. The New Forest is one of the last areas in the country where you can ride freely across the wide open heath lands and through the picturesque enclosures, offering rides of scenic beauty which are enjoyed by all our riders throughout the year.

FOREST HACKING
The New Forest is very picturesque throughout the year. You can ride across the open heathland amongst the wild ponies and foals and on into the inclosures, riding along tree lined avenues and leafy glades. You may even be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the wild deer.
Forest Hacks are based on the riders ability with 1 hour walk rides for beginners and 2 hour walk & trot hacks for more experienced riders. We do not canter or jump on the forest. Children or nervous riders can be lead.
1hr rides £28 and 2hr hacks £48
Riders must be over 7 years to ride out. |

On our one hour beginner rides we offer a family rate of £100 for four riders. The one hour ride takes you out to ride amongst the wild ponies and foals with our leaders walking along with you to help and lead younger children

30 minutes of fun on your pony. Learn the basics of safe riding in the paddock at the stables with leaders for the young or nervous. 4 yrs and older - £15.50 each |
