You can combine riding with mountain biking. We’ll have bikes delivered to your hotel or B&B for the day or weekend .

You can choose either 2 hour western trails which are at a gentle walk and jog pace and are suitable for beginners or traditional saddle hacks up to walk and trot pace for more experienced riders. The rides will take you out over the forest greens to ride amongst the wild ponies and foals and then on into the forest woodlands where you may well be lucky and spot one of the many herds of wild deer.

Burley Villa has it’s own Bed and Breakfast just a few hundred yards from the stables. Bashley House offers accommodation in double rooms all en suite with  facilities for tea and coffee, television with dvd players and continental breakfast. The house is set in it’s own grounds a short walk from the open forest and from the local Rising Sun Inn which serves hot food all day in a comfortable, family atmosphere over looking the forest. There are plenty of places to visit in the area and many pubs and restaurants to eat in.

 

Prices are from £65 or £75 per room per night. We also offer short breaks including riding from the stables which start at £75 per person for a one night stay with a 2 hour hack or trail. As always, beginners are welcome.
