HOLIDAYS
If you already have a Pilots Licence and would like to taste the delights
of Provence, why not take advantage of our facilities and after a checkout
on the club Tomahawk, visit the surrounding area. Local trips include flights
to Mont Blanc or to the Cote d' Azur. When you are not airborne the local
terrain is well worth a visit. Mountain hikes, horse riding, restaurants,
swimming and historical sites are all nearby.
"TASTER"

For those who are considering learning to fly and
would like to find out more, we are able to offer a weekend break to experience
two hours flight training in the relaxed and enjoyable surroundings of
Provence.
ACCOMODATION
Included within the price of your course is Bed and Breakfast at our traditional
Provencale farmhouse, just minutes from the airfield. There are also gites
and Hotels available in the area at reasonable cost. Transport is provided
to and from the airfield as required. Car Hire is available locally or
from Marseille airport.
THE WEATHER
To enable us to operate as efficiently as possible, we have chosen Alpine
Provence for it's outstandingly consistent flight training weather. Statistics
from a survey at Bracknell Weather Centre say that the probability of weather
suitable for student pilot training throughout the year in the south of
France is 83%, compared to Southern England which is 53%. These figures
speak for themselves.
