On the 19th September 1998 four went to Pembroke as part of the newly-formed Midlands Ladies Team, now BOA registered as the'Wahini Warriors'.
Those travelling stalwarts were Jane, Ally, Val and Gilly (Sarah now excluded as, upon arrival, with an eye to the main chance, she immediately defected to the Spectrum Angels who went on to win 2nd place!)

A successful first tournament for our new team, we managed to hold Swansea to a 4-4 draw. They then went on to win the day.
We hope to hold regular(ish) training sessions - the first one planned for early November - the plan being to make our mark at Nationals next year!
