Officers’ reports:
Chairman: nothing to report
Secretary: accepted (sent with AGM agenda)
Treasurer: Presented, clarified accounts on Sam Black. The League held £342.06 in the current account and £507.04 in the reserve account. 1 cheque still had not been cashed to a value of £60. The Treasurer explained that due to a mix up a cheque had been bounced by the bank due to insufficient funds and a charge of £35 made against the league, the cheque was then represented and a further charge of £35 made before he was notified of the problem. The Treasurer said that he would be refunding the league the two bank charges. The current account was also lower due to the cost of repairing the Lawrance Cup.

Presentation of Trophies: The Lawrance Tankard and the Lawrance Cup were presented, the remaining trophies were not present.
Election of new clubs: Roding & Loughton were elected to the league with no opposition.
Proposal from Enfield CC to introduce an U150 C Division: After some discussion as to whether the division should be U150 or U140 a poll from all the clubs showed that only Enfield would be able to enter teams for this season. It was decided to try this as an experiment for 2009-10.
Proposed rule change: The Secretary explained that in the 2007-08 season only one captain had posted in their results and in 2008-09 all the results had been received via email. Because of this there seemed no reason to keep the rule that counted only working days before a fine was given. This rule change was passed unanimously.

Fees and subscriptions 09-10: The Treasurer proposed no changes and after some discussion re the decreasing level in the current account the meeting agreed to no changes for this season with a full review at the next AGM..

B Division – Barking II; Barnet Elizabethans II; Chingford II; Enfield II; Enfield III; Roding & Loughton; Wanstead II
Lawrance and Finchley Cup draws: The draws were made for the first round matches for both competition.
Any other business: The Secretary reminded the meeting of the 50th Capes Trophy 25-9-08;
