Picketts Lock

Main species in this stretch from Picketts Lock down to Stonebridge Lock are roach, perch and skimmers. Decent size bream are also known to show throughout this stretch in large numbers.

Baits such as maggot, pinkies, squatts, breadpunch and worm all work well. Virtually all methods will produce fish although as with much of the Lee it is very much pole dominated.

Although the turning bay area on the industrial estate is said to contain shoals of bream another area worth a try is just downstream of Picketts Lock itself, opposite the reed beds.

During the Summer fish opposite the reed beds, just downstream of the lock for bream.
