Dear
Sir or Madam,
We are offering you unique technology and a revolutionary product.
The scientific staff of the STC POLYFERM have developed a unique method
for producing therapeutic systems DALCEX-TRYPSIN, commercially available
in the form of wound coverings, powders and ointments that contain immobilized
trypsin, an enzyme with a wide range of activities usually required to
clean a wound effectively.
Trypsin, a digestive enzyme, is secreted by the pancreas of humans and
animals, into the stomach and contributes to a fast digestion of food
rich in denatured proteins. Living tissues including those of the stomach
itself are resistant to said digestion in virtue of the fact that they
contain inhibitors the latter prevent the enzyme from exerting its action.
Some animals (e.g., star-fish) are known to be able of turning out their
lower portion of the stomach, to envelop a prey too large to be swallowed,
of digesting the prey externally and of absorbing it in a dissolved state.
The preparation mimics, to some extent, the above stomach. When applied
to a pyo-necrotic wound, the preparation begins to decompose, to render
dissolved necrotized (non-viable) tissues which shall be removed, usually,
with a surgical scalpel.
Due to this fact, proteolytic enzymes are sometimes nicknamed as chemical
scalpels.
Prior-art technique in wound epuration used powders or solutions of crystalline
enzymes. But enzymes in their native state can act only periodically,
for a short period of time (dozens of minutes). Repeated procedures are
needed, large amounts of expensive and scarcely supplied enzymes are consumed.
Contrarily, enzyme chemically bound to dialdehyde cellulose has an extended
time of life and activity (up to several days). This diminishes the consumption
of the enzyme by a factor of hundreds and the duration of treatment is
1.5 to 2 times as less as for a conventional treatment, owing to a protracted
(long-lasting) action. Moreover, wound coverings DALCEX-TRYPSIN retain
all sanitary and hygienic properties of it; water and air permeability,
water absorbability, ability of protecting an open wound against harmful
exposures to the ambiance. The preparation is more non-traumatic than
gauze or other dressing materials known in the art. The preparation allows
an easy removal from the surface or out of the depth of a wound, does
not cause any trauma to living tissues when changed, there is no pain
sensation in repeated application thus improving the working condition
of the hospital staff.
The articles with immobilized enzymes are available in the form as follows,
depending on their indication:
- DALCEX-TRYPSIN, as a napkin;
- DALCEX-TRYPSIN, as an application against bed sores;
- DALCEX-TRYPSIN, as an application for preventing traumatic toxicosis;
- DALCEX-TRYPSIN, as a micro fibre;
- DALCEX-TRYPSIN, as a lint;
- DALCEX-TRYPSIN, as a dressing;
- DALCEX-TRYPSIN, as a fast-securable personal-use dressing;
- DALCEX-TRYPSIN, as a form with some antibacterial ingredients;
- DALCEX-TRYPSIN, as gel (said gel serves as a humidifier).

The above- mentioned products can be used in medicine to treat pyo- necrotic
wounds of different etiologies (gunshot, punctured wounds), keloids, abscesses,
phlegmonas, burns, frostbite, trophic ulcers, bed sores etc., in cosmetology,
dentistry, otolaryngology.
If you are interested in being supplied with our unique products, we are
ready to propose the terms of possible collaboration as follows:
- Organization of joint manufacture of the above products. We are folly prepared to provide you with all required documents, involving the outcomes of clinical trials carried out in Russia, for eventual registration them with your healthcare authorities.
- Deliveries of final products with taking the customer's demands into account. The products can also be manufactured completely from the customer's materials and therapeutic substances.
- Deliveries of semi finished products in from of a fabric, powder, ointment or gel with immobilized therapeutically active principles.
- Transfer of patents, technological schedules and normative documentation on production (provided that it has been agreed previously).
