PROFILE

Joined the Royal Air Force in 1980, left in 1996 holding the non-commissioned rank of Corporal and with over 15 years of Electrical Engineering experience gained at several maintenance levels. Capable of diagnosing electrical faults and devising solutions to servicing problems. Possess strong leadership, communication and motivation skills developed in a total quality management environment, working to tight schedules.


EXPERIENCE:

1996-present:

Contracted to British Aerospace as a technical instructor for the Royal Saudi Air Force in Khamis Mushayt, Saudi Arabia. My primary responsibilities are to analyse, troubleshoot, install, inspect and modify aircraft electrical and associated electronic components, sub-systems and test equipment. Also to supervise aircraft electrical systems maintenance activities.


1980-1996:

While serving in the Royal Air Force, my primary functions included aircraft and aeroengine servicing ,scheduled maintenance, complex modifications, fault diagnosis, rectification, special testing, calibration and adjustments, repairs and inspections of all electrical electronics.


MANAGEMENT:

Previous experience consists of coordinating the servicing and manpower for operating a flight line of twenty-eight aircraft. Control often carried out with tight schedules to be met.

The day to day control of the Electrical Servicing Section in a busy aircraft maintenance section, including quality implementation, inspecting and directing all work carried out by a team of seven electrical tradesmen. Responsibilities included negotiating with other trade managers in the planning and execution of servicing tasks. Regularly liaising with other nationalities about specific work on German and Italian variant aircraft.
