Ninos Sarkis

Ninos (on right) with Me!

Due to the absence of Mark’Rottweiler’Toppin from this year’s tournament, Ninos ‘Don Juan’ Sarkis was a last minute signing from the Hayes and District League’s Syrian Sparrows, sorry that should be Syrian Eagles! With the youthful additions to the squad in the form of Kenny and Animal, Sarkis was the experienced journeyman the team needed, a player of proven ability and flair and the gelled hairstyle to go with it.

Supreme had been tracking Sarkis’ development. He had shown the qualities such as his ‘big game temperament’ and ‘sure touch’ that are so hard to find in most players.

This year Ninos played in the second half of every game as Supreme experimented with the European ‘squad rotation’ system. Despite missing a penalty, Don Juan put in a noteworthy performance. Hounslow populace look out, a Supreme Deluxe cap is more difficult than getting a Lonsdale belt, you have a star on your hands!

2000 UPDATE
Ninos was unavailable for the 2000 SD squad, and he is currently in Spain negotiating with Barcalona to replace Luis Felippe Figo up front! SD plan a summer raid for him though, and are preparing a £110m package to lure him back from the Catalan giants. Stay with SD.com and stay informed!
