Roger Prim

Roger is famous for his shot that hit the bar in 1995. His play that year was outstanding considering he weighed about 3 stone at the time, and he dazzled players twice his size. Roger and Anwar played half a match each, and this led to a disjointed team formation with Anwar being defensive and Roger being more offensive, but it is unquestionable that we played very attractive football on the attack.

Roger, along with the rest of us that year, suffered due to his lack of size (overall that is, not one place in particular!) and was fouled quite often. In fact, he won some valuable freekicks for the side which could have led to goals.

As with Anwar, there is little to say about Roger since he only played half the 1995 tournament, but his contribution will always be remembered for that outstanding effort which deserved much more (the same can be said, of course, for Tottenham's season!). Roger, mate, if you're out there, get in touch and let me know what else should be on this page, since I would hate to do anyone an injustice by missing out on their moments of glory! Cheers!

2000 UPDATE
Roger has recently resumed contact with Raj creating excitement within the SD camp, and sparking wild rumours of a potential return to action next year. Watch this space!
