There was this Scouser who was on holiday, hitching across the USA. He was in Nevada, in the middle of nowhere, when he spotted a little bar. He went in and got chatting to the barman. He noticed a Native American sitting in the corner, complete with full headdress etc.
"Whos that?" he asked the barman.
"Ah, he's a memory man, remembers everything he's ever seen or heard or read about. He's amazing. Go and have a chat with him."
So, the Scouser goes over and says: "Who won the FA Cup in 1966?"
"Everton", said the memory man
"Who were they playing?" asks the Scouser
"Sheffield Wednesday", says the Indian
"What was the score at half-time"
"2-0 to Wednesday" came the answer.
I'll get him thinks the Scouser, "Who scored the winning goal?"
"Derek Temple" came the reply, quick as a flash.
The Scouser is stunned and amazed and tells all his friends when he gets back to Scouseland.
Anyway, about ten years later, he's back touring the States again. He comes across the same little bar, and decides to go back in for old times sake. To his surprise the Native American is still there, still in his headdress. I'll go and greet him in the native manner thinks the Scouser. So he sits down opposite the old guy, raises one hand and says, "How!"
"A scorching left foot shot from the edge of the penalty box" comes the reply !!!
