My name is Chris Morton and I am an Electronics Engineer living in the South East of England.

I have been researching my grandfather's service with the Royal Field Artillery on and off since 1995. This web site represents the results of my research. I hope you will find it interesting and informative.

I am currently transferring my research documentation to this site, so please come back again in the near future and read the new additions.

The site is divided into five sections. The main one being "Research" that will contain my grandfather's army service, or as much of it as I can reconstruct. The background information on the war that is needed to put the research into context can be found in the "World War 1" section.
