I've been mountain biking, on and off, for about seven years(the off bits are usually enforced after hospital visits).

My first bike was a Muddy Fox Courier, a great intro to serious off-road cycling.I had it for about 11 months and changed everything on it .It weighed about two tonnes.

The next bike, a carbon fibre Kestrel, only lasted one ride.It took me ages to get all the parts to build a complete bike.I finally got it togther, rode it once in the hills and cracked it. The shop was very helpful and did me a deal on my next bike.

My latest bike is a Klein Attitude which i've had for six years. It's decked out in some good stuff; Grafton brakes, Ringle post, Grafton cranks, XTR etc, but like a lot of people i'm going full suspension.

0 Myself, on the right with Klein Attitude and my long term riding buddy Mike "Hong Kong Fooey" Foo with Cannondale. This photo was taken a few years ago as you can tell from the cheesey helmets.

The photo was taken on top of Helvelyn, which is one of the highest mountains in Britain. We've been up loads of times before and since and this is the only time that it was clear.

The next creation will be a Turner XCE, Pace mxcd pro forks, Syncros post, stem, bars, Cooks Bros cranks, Hugi hubs, Mavic 217 ceramics, Altec brake levers and a lot of XTR. Everything except the forks i'm getting from Charlie who ownes Cycle Dynamics in Westport, Connetticut , USA and the forks off Andy who ownes Biketreks in Ambleside, Cumbria., GB. Both these guys are very helpful and wouldn't hesitate to recomend either.
