Analogue Solutions produce, sell and
distribute new analogue synthesisers and music accessories. We also
modify analogue synthesisers
and analogue drum machines.note: all our synths use completelynote: all our synths
use completely analogue signal and modulation paths.
I.e. VCOs, VCFs, VCAs, LFOs, EGs, etc are totally
analogue. There are no sneaky half-digital oscillators,
or digital LFOs/EGs hiding in there like many other
'analogue' synths!
|

Two new
modules available:
MCV - small sized 6HP MIDI to CV converter
similar to our larger M2CV
and VCO - small sized 6HP VCO similar to
our other VCOs.
Both ideal for those that need to cram
more modules into a rack.
More modules coming soon

OBERKORN
analogue sequencer
 |
Depeche Mode - Sounds Of The Universe.
The producer of their new album,
Ben Hillier, specifically requested an Oberkorn step
sequencer for use on recording their new album, Sounds
Of The Universe. We had a great chat about analogue
synths, and it turns out Martin is still a great fan of
analogue gear, and still owns a VCS3, amongst others.
You can see the Oberkorn in use
with Depeche Mode. You will spot it towards the end of
the clip - when you see Ben sitting there playing with
the sequencer (spot the row of Blue LEDs!).

ELECTRONIC MUSIC
RULEZ
When you build
analogue synths that ship all over the world, you
get to hear of a lot of different electronic bands,
many of which I like! So I am starting a link list
of the better ones (it's just my personal taste, so
don't be offended if yours doesn't get added!). Send
me a CD over and I may add yours!!
In no particular order...
http://www.myspace.com/jointhecarcrashset
http://www.myspace.com/myqforce
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfU-4Y4_akY
Also check out Little Boots,
La Roux
.... and
here's some tunes I wrote probably over 10 years
ago. AS customers may appreciate them since they are
90% analogue synths and drums running and mixed live
(in my then very poorly equipped home studio) off
MIDI-CV converters. I can't remember exactly what
was used in each track, but lots of sequencing was
done on a 606, TH48, and cubase, most drums are live
monosynths, TR808, TR606 or some analogue drum
brain. Synths ARE whatever I had in at the time;
MS20, SH101, MC202, System 100, 100m, Cat, Kitten,
TB303, Syncussion, CS40m, CS5, Prodigy, Rogue, list
goes on.
You may not
like the mix or the tune, but hopefully, for
analogue's sake, you might like to listen...
bavaria-035
I think this
was sequenced just about all on a MC202. I was
determined to use the 202 seq' at least once in my
life (and it was only once).
Lunar-Rock
name has no
meaning to the tune. Definitely not rock music
electro
Some sequenced
modular synth stuff, and Yamaha FM there too! I
think it was a TX81Z
desire
....dozens more tunes. Some
better, some worse

blog ?
1/06/2009 - some great new banks coming
through. In particular Little Boots and La
Roux. Look them up on youtube. great
electronic pop.
11/04/08 - my new soft synth is ready (see
above). Looks great.
10/04/08 - new depeche mode album is
EXCELLENT and very electronic (and
analogue). You must buy it. Also listening
to Ladytron's new CD, Bat For Lashes, Yes by
PSB.
18/11/08 -> stockholm is a great city. But I
drunk too much beer.
8/11/08 -> I will be visiting the Stockholm
store JAM. Come along and say hi!
16/9/08: When you build analogue synths that
ship all over the world, you get to hear of
a lot of different electronic bands, many of
which I like! So I am starting a link list
of the better ones (it's just my personal
taste, so don't be offended if yours doesn't
get added!). Send me a CD over and I may add
yours!! The list is upstairs somewhere (look
up!)
16/9/8 So who
out there does this. Watching music videos
or TV performances (especially old 80s ones)
plays spot the analogue synth? I do that. I
start calling out all the analogue synths
that appear on TOTP! Prophet 5...
MS20.....Emu2... my wife thinks that's sad!
1/08/08 CP88,
BD78, SD78 drum modules now available (CR78
kick and snare, TR808 handclap). Also MT9 9
channel MIDI to trigger module.
25/6/08 note the
best audio demo, but funny to watch, check
out this Vostok / Oberkorn YouTube vide

Oberkorns in stock. Tshirts in stock
16/05/08: New
batch of ANALOGUE SOLUTIONS tshirts will be
in soon. I'll put a pic's soon.
16/05/08:
Leipzig-k wood arrived today. Adjustments
being made to the metalwork. So hopefully
soon I can order production keyboard
metalwork.
1/05/08: was
about to buy Yazoo tickets, but at £45(!) I
think they are taking the p**s!
11/3/08:
Enjoying Future Future Future Perfect by
Freezepop. Excellent band
10/3/08: saw
Gary Numan at the Wulfrun hall, Excellent!
14/2/8: New
Leipzig synth out! Also TBX sold out again!
More coming in 2 weeks.
6/12/07: TBX
sold out! Next batch in production. Today
OneTwo's CD 'Instead' is playing. Excellent.
5/12/07: say THE
HUMAN LEAGUE this week. Excellent as always.
I see them every year, one reason I keep
going is because out of any band I have ever
seen, they consistanly have good support
acts. This year is was ONETWO - featuring
Propaganda's Claudia Brucken. They were
superb, and in my opinion surpassed the main
act (which from me is praise indeed as HL
are excellent live). I was a little sad when
1-2 finished their set. They played a cover
of OMD's Communication and Propaganda's
Duel. I think after she sung Duel - it was
then the crowd suddenly realised who she was
and the atmosphere picked up.
31/10/07: new
synth that is in design successfully tested
31/10/07: TBX
TB303 clone in stock
30/10/07: Red
Square now has a new black front panel
4/10/2007: UK
postage strike for about 4 days - expect
small delays with posted orders. TBX
metalwork going to the printers in the next
few days. Red Squares will now be BLACK!
TR808 rack case conversion should be with us
next week. We will hopefully receive
prototype circuits boards for 2 new synths
this week.
