After 27 years employed in the U.K nuclear power industry, working primarily on gas cooled graphite-moderated nuclear reactors, I have been operating a personal consultancy service since 1995 with a wide cross-section of clients which includes many organisations within the UK nuclear industry, together with USA national laboratories and also the International Atomic Energy Agency. I also maintain close technical contacts with the principal nuclear organisations in Russia, Lithuania, Japan, Germany, the Netherlands, USA and France.

Trained as an inorganic chemist at Imperial College of Science and Technology, London University; Fellow of The Royal Society of Chemistry, Chairman of The British Carbon Group, 2000-2003; joint winner of The Royal Society Esso Energy Award 1997.
