Monkey Island 1: The Secret of Monkey Island
When you began the game your only aim was to become a pirate. You needed to find some treasure and beat the Sword Master, but it was when you tryed to steal the 'Idol of Many Hands' that you met Govenor Elaine Marley. You fell in love with her instantly but she wasn't impressed with your mumbling. Things got worse when Fester Shinetop showed up. He threw you in the sea and while you were down there, LeChuck Kidknapped Elaine!
You heard that she had been taken to a place called Monkey Island but you needed 3 crew members and a ship before you could get anywhere. Meathook, Otis and the Sword Master offered to join you crew and you managed to get a ship called 'The Sea Monkey' from Stan. Your crew were a lazy bunch but you whisked up a potion to get you moving.
Once on Monkey Island you met the less than helpful, Herman Toothrot and getting inside the Monkey Head wasn't an easy task. You fed a monkey bananas and he helped you get into the 2nd biggest monkey head you'd ever seen. Once you were inside, you used the navigators head to find LeChucks ghost ship. As soon as you had found a way to resuce Elaine you discovered she had been taken back to Melee Island to marry LeChuck!
After sailing back again to Melee, you found the ceremony had already begun. You stoped the procedings only to find LeChuck was standing next to a monkey. Elaine burst in so you ran out together. Elaine watched as LeChuck beat you up so you blew him up with a bottle of root beer. She thought it was very pretty but you soon found out that Elaine was married.
Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge 
Unfortunately this adventure began with your money being stolen by Largo La Grande. You found out that he was LeChuck's hit-man and that you couldn't leave the island without dealing with him first. You wandered around aimlessly until you met up with your old friend, the mysterious, nameless, voodoo lady. She assured you that a voodoo doll would be just the thing to get rid of Largo.
To make any voodoo doll you need 4 things from your victim: Something of the head, something of the thread, something of the body and something of the dead. You struggled for a while but you eventually found all 4 things and the voodoo lady made a doll for you. After getting rid Largo you chartered a ship to take you around Scabb, Phatt and Booty Islands.
You had discovered on your travels that the map that would lead you to the treasure of Big Whoop had been torn into 4 pieces! And as soon as possible you started looking for them. You found the Phatt Island Libary to be very useful and eventually you found them all. You thought it would be a good idea to take the pieces to Wally, the Cartographer on Scabb Island. Wally was supposed to transfer the map back on to one sheet so you could use it and you had to collect a love potion for Wally in return. Unfortunately Wally was quite unable to look after himself and before you had returned with his potion, he had been kidnapped by LeChuck, along with your map pieces! You ran back to the swamp to ask the strange voodoo lady for advice but you discovered a crate a couldn't resist a little peek. You didn't know you'd get trapped inside and delivery men were going to take it to LeChucks fortress!
In LeChucks fortress you soon stumbled upon the key to the cell were Wally was being held, but it was booby trapped and LeChuck threw you in the dungeon.You were suspended over a pit of acid, but Wally had an idea and you were soon free, (but in a darkened room.) You managed to find a way out and to Dinky Island , a parrot helped you find a cross and you dug down and you found LeChuck!
You found that he had made a voodoo doll of you and when he used it you were first put into incredible pain, and then moved magically to another part of his ugly fortress. Eventually, between being disturbed by LeChuck, you managed to create a voodoo doll of him. Luckily your voodoo doll was more effective than his, and because your such a kind guy you forgave him. Soon you were out-side in the carnival, with your big bro, Chuckie.

Monkey Island 3:The Curse of Monkey Island
You started this adventure trapped in LeChucks ship, but you found a way to escape with the help of Murry, and a diamond ring. The next thing you knew, you were on the beach of Plunder Island. There you found your love, Elaine, as beautiful as ever. You proposed to her, she accepted, but the engagement ring was cursed and she turned into a solid gold statue! You decided to explore the island and met your old friend the voodoo lady. She said that to bring back Elaine to her former self you must find a replica ring from Blood Island. To get there you needed a map, a ship, and a 3 man crew. When you returned to the beach Elaine had been stolen! Comes from being made of solid gold I guess.
Palido suplied the map and you Hi-jacked a ship called the 'Sea Cucumber' in which you found a map to take you to where Elaine was hidden. You persuaded 3 barbers to join your crew and managed to dig up Elaine and take her with you. Unfortunately Captain Rottingham stole the map from you and you had to beat him twice, first at sea battle, then at sword fighting to recover the map.
Once on Blood Island, you found that the ring had had been broken and the band was separated from it's diamond. Minnie Stronie Goodsoup, the ghost bride, had the band and she willingly gave it to you when she was reunited with her love. Getting the Diamond was not so easy. You had to travel far and pay alot of money, but it was only a lucky hand at cards that got you the diamond. You removed the cursed ring and replaced it with the new one. Elaine was turned back into her normal self and she punched you after all you'd done to help her!
But things were not any easier when Elaine could move. Again LeChuck kidnapped her and put a spell on you to make you ickle. You soon whisked up a potion to make you big again and you could now ride the Big Whoopie Ride. LeChuck chased you round and round but you used his firery beard to your advantage. You and Elaine were then happily married. And lived happily ever after?
The games get better and better so roll on (the real) Monkey4!
Monkey Island 4: The Fantasy Story (By Belly)
Guybrush and Elaine are now happily married and decide to go house hunting on Krispy Island, just south of of Blood Island. Elaine had remembered an old friend of hers called Dr. Ice, whos father was Govenor of the island. Guybrush had just popped down to the Wiggily Bar for a grog and when he returned to the honnymoon hotelroom he descoved Elaine was missing and krispy bits of a black, LeChuck like, beard around the hotel room.
Obviously Guybrush assumed LeChuck had kidknapped Elaine and rushed over to the local swamp in the hope of finding the voodoo lady. After three hours of searching he gave up and decided to visit Dr. Ice. On the way he stopped off at Stan's previously owned heads when he saw Murray perched uncufftablely in the shop window. After gagging and handcuffing stan to a lampost outside the shop, Guybrush picked up Murray and was soon glad he did because Murray had news. He had seen LeChuck out the shop window. He had hired a boat to Dandruff Island and he had been dragging a large crate. What had he done to Elaine?
Guybrush rushed out the shop and imedeatly sailed to Dandruff Island in a "borrowed" boat. As Guybrush searched for LeChuck he met Prince Allie who looked and acted alot like Kenny, the Lemonade salesman. Also he found the Voodoo Lady. She told him to return to Govenor Ices mansion because she senced Dr. Ice had some usful information.
Guybrush rushed back to Krispy Island and ran into the mansion to find Elaine and Dr. Ice eating dinner. Guybrush questioned Elaine to descover she had gone to visit Dr. Ice soon after Guybrush had left for the Wiggily Bar LeChuck must have arrived later and the heavy crate Murray had seen hadn't held Elaine but probally gold and jewels to try to win Elaine over.
