We would like to recommend 2 restaurants in Laroque, both of which should be booked in advance as they get very busy during the summer.  They both offer al fresco dining.  The first is called La Cueva and is situated in the old village, in the Rue du Chateau.  The second is the Cafe des Artistes which is run by an Irish couple.

 At the newsagents in the village you can purchase English newspapers on the day of their publication. At the side of the Cafe des Artistes there are visiting vans, selling pizzas, kebabs or fish and chips depending on which evening they are there.
