My skills in garment design have developed over the years, and are a direct result of my experience in the industry, and from the guidance I received while studying for my degree. I can design for all age groups, from children, through the teenage years through to adult sizes, and can design for all occasions. I follow the proper design process in my garment production, starting with the design process itself. This is followed by the creation of a draft pattern, colour and fabric selection, the production of toiles, and to the final make-up of the garment. Throughout the process the design can be reviewed as necessary - I find that this flexibility allows me to produce a higher quality garment which satisfies the customer better.
