In northeast Scotland where
the Fiddich meets the Spey, and the district's main roads cross, between
Dufftown, Aberlour and Rothes,
the village of Craigellachie has a bridge designed by the great Scottish
engineer Thomas Telford, a cooperage and two distilleries.
Craigellachie is pronounced
"Crail-ella-ki". The last "i" is short.
