Roxette started in 1986, from Sweden, they had their work cut out to make it big, however, 50 Million Albums and 15 Million Singles later, Roxette are a class act :-). Although they have yet to get a number one in the UK (it's only a matter of time in my opinion), they have had 6 top ten hits (18 in the top thirty), with "It Must Have Been Love" topping at third spot on 2nd June 1990. In all, more than 130 weeks spent in the UK charts so far...not bad for a Swedish duo. A new album is due for release after Christmas...we wait. Roxette have also released another album called "Rarities", more info is available at the fanclub website, see below. |
