The Square Tower is thought to be Roman, built on a cliff to watch over the
Channel and Romney Marshes. The Great Hall was built in 1360 and the Great
tower at the end of the 14th century. The castle was restored in 1908.
300 foot below Lympne is the remains of a Roman Shore fort, Stutfall Castle.
Open May to September.
