MANORBIER CASTLE

There is a 12th century tower with 13th century, well preserved walls and a gatehouse on the site of 11th century earthwork defences, overlooking the sea. It was derelict by 1600, but was used during the Civil War and it survived undamaged. Renovated during the 19th century when a house was built within the walls.

Open.
