PENNARD & PENMAEN CASTLES

Only part of the walls and the base of the towers remain of the 1270 century structure of Pennard which had been abandoned by 1400. It is on the cliff, high above the sands.

Penmaen is a 12th century timber castle that was abandoned in mid 13th century. The earthworks can be seen.

Pennard - open
Penmain - private.
